Join this workshop to explore how collaborative methodologies such as AGILE can be harnessed to help bring about greater workplace inclusion.
Collaboration is key to achieving inclusion in the workplace, and inclusion is key to empowering individuals to collaborate effectively together. In this workshop we'll be exploring the connection between collaborative practices and frameworks such as AGILE, and the behaviours that you need to foster within teams to create more inclusive environments.

Through this session you will:

- Gain insights and examples of where Agile methodologies have been used to unlock potential and innovation within diverse teams
- Learn how to encourage practices of reflection and feedback in your teams in order to become more inclusive & effective
- Explore techniques that enable you to build trust and promote openness in order to empower individuals in your team to thrive

This workshop is aimed at:

- Those working in a project team with diverse needs
- Anyone who is already working with agile methods or is interested in doing so
- Managers, employees or HR leads who are interested in embedding inclusive behaviours in their organisation

Please note it is only open to UCL staff or students.

This workshop is facilitated by Tessa Cooper, an expert in agile and inclusive working. With over 10 years experience of leading agile development teams across FutureLearn, The Guardian and Comic Relief, Tess is adept at understanding people and team dynamics. This, alongside her passion for diversity & inclusion issues, lead her to move from product management to work with companies and non-profit communities to build inclusive teams and organisations where individuals are empowered to be the best they can be.
